Women Empowerment Programs

Our women empowerment is another program area in OOADInitiative which is targeted at poor and vulnerable women in order to lift them out of poverty and have improved standard of living by providing them with relevant knowledge, skills and financial assistance. Our community development programs are aimed at the poor and vulnerable groups and communities. We tackle prioritized socio-economical, infrastructural and health issues that are considered to be prerequisites for good standard of living and will contribute making member communities fulfill their dreams in life Our development works through health programs use innovative and evidenced based interventions to tackle major public health issues with special interest in those that are closely associated with poverty or has a potential to subject people to harsh condition of living and threatens fulfillment of their dreams.

Community Development Programs

We also carry out development work by engaging in innovative awareness creation and policy advocacy; we create public awareness by providing evidenced based information on development subjects especially those associated with the poverty. We also strongly advocate for evidenced-based policy and practices associated with development work to enable policy makers make informed choices. Our Research and Data Repository is another strategy adopted to contribute to reliable and up-to-date data availability and carry out research on development topics, information and facts from these will further strengthen our policy advocacy work.
